Steal a Brainrot — Evolution Guide
All evolution chains, how to evolve, and timing strategies to maximize points.
Evolution in Steal a Brainrot means combining two identical brainrots to create one higher-rarity version worth significantly more points. The basic chain goes: Basic Brainrot → Chad Brain → Sigma Brainrot. Timing your evolutions correctly is one of the most important skills in the game.
How Evolution Works
Collect duplicates
Find or steal two of the same brainrot. Both must be identical — same name and rarity.
Combine them
Open your inventory and select two matching brainrots. Press the Evolve/Combine button. The two brainrots merge into one evolved version.
Higher value, fewer items
The evolved brainrot is worth significantly more points than the two originals combined. You also free up an inventory slot.
All Evolution Chains
The most common evolution path. Combine 2 Basic Brainrots for Chad Brain then 2 Chad Brains for Sigma.
Combine 2 NPC Modes to get Based Brain. Simple and worth doing if you find duplicates.

When to Evolve — Timing Strategy
Early game (0-60s)
Evolve commons immediately early. Basic → Chad → Sigma chain started early gives you a strong base before others do.
Mid game (60-120s)
Hold duplicates and focus on stealing rarer brainrots. Only evolve if the result puts you in a better position.
Late game (last 30s)
THIS IS THE KEY WINDOW. Evolve everything in the last 30 seconds. Evolved brainrots are still stealable but nobody has time to react and steal them back.
⚠️ Warning: Never evolve with more than 60 seconds remaining if the result would make you the top target. Other players will prioritize stealing your freshly evolved brainrot.

literally target whoever is in first place not random map spawns. one steal from the leader swings the whole round in ur favor
wait until the last 30 seconds to evolve. evolved brainrots are still stealable but nobody has time to react if u do it right at the end
67 brainrot spawn zones are roughly the same each map. memorize them and sprint there at round start before anyone else gets close
keep moving at all times. standing still while holding good brainrots is how u get robbed. constant movement makes u harder to catch
c tier brainrots are only worth keeping to evolve. if u have 3 basic brainrots evolve them asap and then go steal something better
sigma brainrot is actually really common to steal bc everyone wants it but nobody protects it well. great mid-round target
