Winning in Dandy's World requires a balance of stealth, speed, and team coordination. Whether you're playing as a survivor trying to clear the factory or as Dandy hunting down toons, these proven strategies will help you win more rounds.
Beginner Survival Tips
Complete nearest tasks first
Always start with the tasks closest to your spawn point. Crossing the map early puts you far from the elevator when Dandy activates.
Never run in straight lines
Dandy gains on survivors running straight. Use corners, doorframes and furniture as obstacles to break line of sight.
Stay within 2 rooms of a teammate
Isolated survivors are the easiest targets. Having a teammate nearby creates options — distraction abilities, healing from Vee, or simply having a witness.
Save your ability for emergencies
Using your character ability when Dandy is far away wastes the cooldown. Save it for when he is within one room.
Learn Dandy's audio cues
Dandy makes distinct sounds that get louder as he approaches. Use headphones. Learning these sounds gives you 5-second warnings.
Check drone patrol routes
Factory Drones follow fixed paths. Watch them for 10 seconds when you first enter a room. Once you know the route cross behind them safely.
Advanced Strategies
Bait Dandy for your team
Experienced players deliberately draw Dandy to one side of the map while teammates complete tasks on the other side. High risk, high reward.
Task split strategy
Split into two pairs. Pair 1 takes north tasks, Pair 2 takes south. Both pairs watch for Dandy and warn each other. Faster task completion, safer execution.
Pre-position near elevator
When 1 task remains stop moving and position yourself near the elevator. The moment it opens you are already there — Dandy has no time to intercept.
Counter Dandy's patrol pattern
On early floors Dandy follows somewhat predictable routes. Watch his pattern for the first 30 seconds and plan your task route around the gaps.

Do not tunnel one survivor
Chasing one skilled survivor for 2 minutes while others complete tasks is the worst outcome. If a survivor is kiting you well, switch targets.
Pressure the task areas
Instead of hunting individuals, patrol between task locations. Survivors are forced to come to tasks — so waiting near tasks is more efficient than chasing.
Use Toon Sense proactively
Move toward areas you hear ability activations from. Survivors using abilities give away their position.
Cut off the elevator route
In the final task phase position yourself between the last task and the elevator. Survivors must come through you to escape.

stay near the task area dont run to the far side of the map. when the elevator opens you need to be close already or dandy catches u on the way
vee heals nearby teammates passively. if ur team has a vee literally just stay within 2 rooms of them during task phase
sharp corners > straight hallways when being chased. run into a room and immediately turn not straight through it. buys u like 3 extra seconds
listen for audio cues fr. once u learn dandys footstep sounds u can hear him coming way before he reaches ur room. headphones help a lot
save ur character ability for actual emergencies. used mine too early and got caught with nothing left. painful lesson lol
astro is broken for task running. mobility ability gets u in and out of task rooms so fast dandy literally cant keep up if u play it right
